The Impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of the Enterprise Application Support family, the Executive Director, Enterprise Application support is responsible for providing 24 x 7 global support coverage, supporting applications, programs, and software solutions across multiple lines of business including Equity Clearing & Settlement, Institutional Trade Processing and Digital Assets. They provide non-functional delivery design requirements and develop operational capabilities as part of Site Reliability Engineering.

This role specializes in providing first class support to both our internal and external clients. Focusing on automation and planning, detailing technical requirements, engaging in Enterprise initiatives to drive stability and resiliency for our applications for the firm. Works closely with product managers, client services, infrastructure, and end-users in the support and enhancement of existing software systems and applications, proposing and recommending solutions that solve complex business problems. The lead will also help drive the framework for Site Reliability Engineering model across these support teams to drive operational supportability through delivery.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as a leader in Information Technology (IT) and contribute to the creation of strategies and implementation of the supporting solutions.

  • Lead and develop talent to support the organizations strategic direction, prioritize associated work based on business requirements (any of these covered below in the key skills?)

  • Support a growing user community in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ensure proper disciplines and controls within the IT environment, as evidenced by strong audits and exams.

  • Serve as a "Change Agent" who brings a sense of urgency and can mobilize resources and execute initiatives on time.

  • Understand how technology works, bring a passion for technology, know the questions to ask, and be able dig into the details.

  • Develop a strong partnership with business line leaders, IT members, and the operations team. Understand the business/process making sure the technology delivery is seamless.

  • Communicate technical issues to a non-tech audience and to be an effective bridge from business to technology.

  • Optimally plan and track multiple large and/or complex projects and communicate status to management and project teams. Identify problem areas and alternative solutions.

  • Listen, learn, adapt, share, and advance ideas that support the vision of an elite infrastructure.

  • Fosters a risk management culture through implementation and demonstration of processes and procedures which identify and mitigate risk.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years of related experience.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
