Executive Director, Digital Applications

Facility: 1800 Parkway Center

The Executive Director of Digital Applications is a key leader in the Digital Platforms team. The Executive Director leads strategic planning for implementation of digital products which includes architectural decisions, technology selection, vendor management, and cross-platform integration. The leader is responsible for ensuring high performance team productivity and value realization for key stakeholders.

The leader will interface with product management, project management, quality assurance, and various stakeholders across the enterprise to define and deliver technical solutions for digital platforms.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Strategic planning for implementation of digital products. Lead / Manage agile application development teams.

Break down product requirements into technical specifications, and define architectural designs. Stay up-to-date on best-practices, and drive adoption. Lead requirements gathering and product acceptance validation sessions with external stakeholders.

Required Minimum Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is required.

Master's Degree in Computer Sciences is preferred.

Required Minimum Experience:

Minimum 12 years of software engineering is required.

Minimum 6 years in a leadership role is required.

Proficiency in full-stack software engineering is required.

Proficiency with multiple back-end and front-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Kotlin, NodeJS, Python) is required.

Proficiency with SEO and Performance optimization is required.

Proficiency with building microservices in cloud-based containerized deployments is preferred.

Experience with public clouds (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP) is preferred.

Experience integrating with SSO systems (e.g. OAuth2, SAML) is preferred.

Experience with search solutions (e.g. SOLR, ElasticSearch, Azure Search) is preferred.

Experience with content management systems (e.g. Sitecore, Wordpress) is preferred.

Required Minimum Skills:

High proficiency in full-stack software engineering.
