We're looking for a Executive Director to join our team.

You will report directly to our AVP of Operations. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the assigned hospice program/site.

  • You will plan, organize, direct and evaluate services of hospice at assigned location

  • You will direct and coordinate admission of patients to hospice services

  • You will direct, supervise and evaluate hospice personnel and volunteers and coordinate services of all team members

About You

  • A current RN license (in the state of requested employment or ability to obtain)

  • At least 1 year of management experience preferred

  • 2+ years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology preferred

  • Must be able to demonstrate ability by performing a variety of tasks

  • Communicate effectively with people of all socioeconomic backgrounds

Must effectively perform independently and under only general supervision. The boring (but very important) stuff: * Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field from an accredited college or university is preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education is required. * A minimum of two to five years' sales experience, preferably in the retirement industry or medical or pharmaceutical sales, with a proven track record of generating and closing a high percentage of qualified leads is required. Knowledge of state regulations impacting or directing the delivery of services. * Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling products or services to include marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations including applicable processes for the product line(s) being sold. * Frequent car travel requires the incumbent to possess and maintain a valid driver's license. * Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
