The Executive Director of Clinical Outcomes is responsible for leading the health system's Clinical Quality and Safety efforts in support of the vision to be nationally recognized as the health care leader in Kentucky and southern Indiana. This role will lead the efforts of annual prioritization of Clinical Quality and Safety work priorities.
It includes developing and implementing plans across all venues of care to achieve those annual goals. It is responsible for defining and continuously improving our implementation processes to reduce variation and encourage standardization and optimization. It will also integrate and coordinate project management and performance improvement using tools such as LEAN, Six Sigma and others to achieve results in partnership with the Performance Advisory Office. This position will performs human resources responsibilities for staff which include interviewing and selection of new employees, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, compensation changes, resolution of employee concerns, corrective actions, terminations, and overall employee engagement.
This role will have access to a variety of analytical tools and resources to facilitate evidence based planning and decision making.
Master's degree in Nursing or health care related field
A minimum of seven years' experience in multi-hospital or health system quality improvement initiatives, with at least five years of supervisory experience.
Must possess a successful track record of working collaboratively with medical staff, nursing, administrative leadership, service lines leadership and key stakeholders throughout the system to foster an environment of shared accountability.
Must possess the ability to do a comprehensive analysis of a process for identification of areas for improvement, and skills to then implement the needed change within that process.
