Executive Director - Cardiovascular Services - Full Time - 8 Hour - Days

Job Description:

The Executive Director directly reports to Vice President, Service Lines to achieve service line goals. Supports and promotes the mission and philosophy of John Muir Health. Provides leadership for the system-wide Cardiovascular Service Line , resulting in quality outcomes and cost-effective performance. Has responsibility for expanding, planning, developing, implementing, marketing, and evaluating all aspects of the Cardiovascular Service Line. Works collaboratively with Medical Staff and any relevant service/department to develop programs to meet various stakeholder needs. Positions program to be a leader in Cardiovascular Services; seeks to establish a competitive advantage and position program as a center of excellence.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree Health Related field or Business Administration

• Required

• Master's Degree Health Care Related Field

• Required

Experience:

• Seven years of Healthcare Management

• Required

• Three years Cardiology/Cardiovascular

• Required

• Program Development

• Required

• Working with Physicians, Building Strong and Trusting Relationships with Physician Leaders

• Required

Skills:

• Has in depth understanding of all aspects of cardiovascular services.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member and to be accepted in a leadership role by a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

• Must have excellent interpersonal, written, oral presentation, and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated, strong leadership skills and business acumen.

• Working with multiple stakeholders in facilitating high-level multi-disciplinary group decisions.

Work Shift:

Exempt Salaried (United States of America)

Pay Range:

$227,119.00 - $340,678.00

Salary

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.

Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it.
