Stonefield is a premier retirement community offering Assisted Living and Memory Care in McKinney, Texas. We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our management team as the Executive Director.

The Executive Director serves as the community leader and is responsible for the financial, human resource and operations management of the community. The objective of the Executive Director is to ensure a warm, compassionate and secure atmosphere encouraging independence and activity for all residents while maintaining a profitable operation.


The ideal candidate will have one or more years previous management experience in the senior housing industry (IL, AL, LTC), in addition to having very strong verbal and written communication skills and strong computer skills. A desire to work with senior adults coupled with the ability to solve complex operational and people problems is also necessary. Candidates will also need to be able to be available after regular working hours and work weekends and holidays as necessary.

VIEW JOBS 4/21/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-20T00:00 Job Overview: Manage financial support for Transmission/Substation Division within the PT&D Segment. This position provides operational and financial information to both Division and Segment management, including reporting, planning/forecasting and analysis of Division activities. Assist management and other Division stakeholders in making educated economic decisions about the Division's future. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Oversee the activities of Primoris Transmission & Substation (T&S) Billing process, including billers and interaction with timekeepers, project management, project controls and clients. * Prepare and provide T&S operation management accurate and timely financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements, billing summaries, equipment and other reports, as needed by management. * Assist in customer audits, quarterly and annual audits * Oversee the T&S forecast and planning process, coordinating with T&S management, PT&D management and various levels within the Division. * Coordinate with Corporate Shared Services Accounts Payable & Payroll groups. Assist in resolving "front line" issues and facilitate proper coding, resolution of issues and follow-up with operations and employees to assure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and payroll. * Assist the Procurement department in the approvals/processing, as needed, for purchase orders. * Assist Shares Services, as needed, regarding employee expense reports, cash control and cash forecasting issues. * Manage the Billing Group to ensure the accurate and timely billing with customers, entry into customer billing systems, coordination of all billings into Viewpoint, assist in Unit interpretation to assure accurate and appropriate Unit billing, examination and interpretation of Units as defined in customer agreements to assure proper billing and recording of revenue each period. Coordinate with management in collections of Accounts Receivable, monitor/track AR aging, provide management billing and AR reports, etc. * Assure sales and property tax compliance with assistance from Primoris Tax Department, provide necessary information for tax filings, etc. * Establish and maintain systems and controls to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, including the verification of the integrity of all systems, processes and data within the Division. * Respond to the Segment CFO and the Shared Services Controller as assigned with accurate and timely work to facilitate his or her financial requests and/or needs. * Participate in a wide variety of special projects and develop special reports, as needed or requested by Division management and by the Segment CFO. * Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner. * Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions. Scope of Accountability Job role is accountable for the support of management's fiscal planning and overall performance of the organization including accountability for the organization's bottom line fiscal measure of success. Supervisory Responsibility Supervises through subordinates, usually other managers and supervisors. Coordinates various activities that are not necessarily related. Plans work and administers polices. Adheres to Sarbanes Oxley processes and formulates T&S policies and procedures accordingly and makes long range plans. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Department/Location Specific Requirements and Comments This position will be located in the T&S McKinney, Texas office and may require some travel. The T&S operations and the Shared Services functions are located at various Texas locations and may require local travel to these sites as well. Basic Qualifications: * Education, Licenses, Certification: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance plus CPA, CMA or CFA certification. Must have 10 years of hands-on accounting managerial experience. * Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Strong accounting/GAAP knowledge and background, good understanding of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, project costing & revenue accounting (POC, Unit/MSA), reporting systems experience, etc. * Strong work ethic, ability to meet deadlines, monthly and quarterly closings, at times requiring overtime. * Significant financial software experience, proficient in Excel (spreadsheet) skills, analytical analysis and use of other productivity software (email, laptops, etc.). * Strong managerial skills are needed, both upward and downward in the organization. Requires good interaction with subordinates and with all levels of operational management, including the Shared Services group and with customers. * Good written and verbal communication skills are a must. Capable of writing justifications, summaries; training users in moderately complex topics. Capable of maintaining frequent contact with upper management, customers, vendors, and/or internal staff to furnish and obtain information and resolve issues; typically capable of developing and delivering effective group presentations.
