Job Description Job Description We are seeking a dynamic Executive Director / CEO of a thriving non-profit operating at the overlap of education, health care and international impact. Since 2004, our client has been working to transform lives and communities by providing access to essential resources such as food, clean water, and healthcare in rural Africa—and bringing lessons learned back home to our local community through engagement activities and partnerships with local schools.

CEO/Executive Director Job Description ✔ Provide Effective Leadership o Operations: Work under the direction and immediate supervision of the Board Chair, and in partnership with the board of directors to enact organizational mission, vision, and goals. o Financial:

Maintain fiscal integrity and accountability for all donor dollars in partnership with the board chair and treasurer. Administrative: Manage competent, qualified staff f as required, including but not limited to the Program Director (PD), Operations/Admin, interns, etc. o Administrative: Manage Kindful database to maintain donor records, send appreciation notes, and provide timely reports to the board for the cultivation of donors. o Board:

Engage and enroll board members and other volunteers to create a sustainable fundraising committee. o Board: Facilitate effective and compliant board operations and procedures to ensure compliance with bylaws, updating as necessary. o Volunteers: Grow and maintain a volunteer membership and leadership pipeline (including committee chairs, brigade volunteers, other volunteers). ✔ Lead Development and Fundraising Strategies: o Develop new donor sources (institutional/corporate/individuals) with targeted and tailored marketing outreach campaigns (podiums/board rooms/living rooms). o Manage / Coordinate annual fundraising event o Manage / Coordinate other fundraising events like Open Houses, annual campaigns, etc. o Engage and collaborate with the University of Cincinnati, UC Health, and other academic and health care partners, domestically and abroad. o Serve as the primary spokesperson to the organization’s constituents, donors, the media, and the public. ✔ Support/Enable Program Work and Travel: o Partner to provide direction and financial oversight, manage priorities, keep a pulse on community needs, and share reports from committees there. o Willingness to travel annually to Arica to further develop partnerships o Provide oversight for Tanzania travel preparation in managing brigades of all kinds.
