As Executive Director you will be leading and supervising a team of passionate clinical, medical, and administrative professionals to address the opioid epidemic in our communities. The Executive Director is responsible for providing oversight, management, and support to ensure efficient and effective daily operations. As an Executive Director, you will participate in development and execution of the corporate strategic plan and act as the primary source of communication between the Chief Executive Officer and the Board and your team. The Executive Director will champion to the vision and mission of ARS and ensures the staff does the same.

Essential Functions:

  • Cultivate a positive work environment and culture that empowers staff and patients.

  • Supervise the management team comprised of the director of nursing, clinical supervisor, and office manager.

  • Identify staff training needs, organize and/or conduct in-person trainings as necessary in conjunction with ARS training requirements.

  • Ensure clean, safe work environment and compliance with fire and safety regulations, review of monthly safety checks with Health and Safety Officer, and act as liaison with property management.

  • Work with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure policies conform to regulations of governing bodies and ensure all policies and procedures are followed.

  • Establish and maintain proficient understanding and application of State Licensure Standards, CARF Standards, 42 CFR and HIPAA standards and Company policies.

  • Participate in the development of an annual budget, responsible for achieving revenue target, census goals, and controlling expenses.

  • Own the relationship with methadone authorities, other licensing officials, and CARF surveyors. Facilitates site visits by licensing and accreditation officials.

  • Collaborate with Director of Systems Management to develop and implement performance and process improvement plans in response to licensing audits, accreditation surveys, internal quality management activities and critical incidents as needed.

  • Protect and uphold the organization's integrity by monitoring contracts, funding sources regulations and deliverables and commitment to community stakeholders.

    Qualifications:
    - Bachelor's Degree in psychology, counseling or human services; Master's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in medication assisted treatment if the candidate has a Master's Degree.

  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience if the incumbent has a Bachelor's Degree.

  • Minimum of three years supervisory experience.

  • Possess a strong understanding and experience in clinic substance abuse treatment including best/promising practices and state and federal regulations

  • Ability to demonstrate and adhere to ethical conduct

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience creating and managing efficient and effective treatment services.

  • Experience in managing a budget.

  • Thorough knowledge of Federal and State regulations pertaining to medication assisted treatment.
