What we're looking for:
This Executive Communications Manager will support the Citrix Executive Leadership Team and will help the Citrix Corporate Communications team tell the Citrix story through the lens of its top executives to help us engage employees, industry partners, customers and other industry stakeholders.
The right person for this position will be a communications expert with a background in writing, social media, presentation design and strong campaign and project management skills. Experience with top executives or sales communications is preferred.
You are a curiosity-driven, organized team player who will help write compelling messages, create thoughtful presentations and find innovative ways to engage employees and contribute to the team's culture. To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to work quickly and with a sense of urgency to deliver communications as needed for executives. And you excel in highly collaborative roles, working with teammates, leadership and internal partners to keep audiences large and small engaged and informed.
Develop, write and edit communications for senior executives including emails, briefing documents, blog posts, social media posts, events and internal and external presentations.
Provide support on a variety of sales communications support for Citrix's Chief Revenue Officer.
Provide support to other members of the Citrix Executive Communications team to help them in communicating to key audiences while taking advantage of an executive's unique voice and the needs of different audiences.
Serve as a dynamic member of the executive communications team and broader corporate communications team to help where needed on campaigns and projects.
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent practical experience (Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, Organizational Development, Content Creation preferred).
3-5 years of experience in public relations, journalism, communications or writing
Experience with a large, global sales organization preferred
Experience with technology preferred; ability to absorb technical content and repurpose for a variety of communications vehicles
Ability to balance competing priorities and manage several time-sensitive projects at once in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
Ability to think, plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion. Effective team player who can lead efforts across disciplines.
Demonstrated executive maturity and an ability to work effectively with senior executives
Excellent creative and visual skills including slide design with experience using presentation software.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
