What we're looking for:

As the Executive Communication Business Partner for the Chief People Officer at Citrix, you will work with the HR Leadership Team and the Citrix Corporate Communications Team to create and execute a communications strategy that engages Citrix employees, industry partners, customers and supports major HR and corporate cross-functional initiatives. You'll understand complex and technical HR problems and initiatives, break them down, and work with Citrix executives to communicate as needed in written (emails, blog posts, talking points, FAQs) and spoken (strategy presentations, videos) forms that align to the goals of the company and the HR organization.

You are a curiosity-driven, highly organized, and driven team player who will help write compelling messages, create thoughtful presentations and find innovative ways to engage employees and contribute to the team's culture. To succeed in this role, you need to be able to work quickly and with a sense of urgency to deliver communications as needed for your executives. You excel in highly collaborative and strategic roles, feeling comfortable learning from and coaching/guiding senior HR leaders. You will become an expert in the drivers for culture, engagement and employee experience and have a voracious appetite for understanding the trends, evolution and strategy for people operations at Citrix and within the broader technology industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with and influence executives, and provide advice that reflects an understanding of their business and leadership style.

  • Understand the strategic direction of the company and the HR function to propose strategies for amplifying the executive's voice and impacting the employee audience.

  • Develop, write and edit communications for senior executives including emails, blog posts, social media posts and internal and external presentations.

  • Develop creative strategies for communicating to key audiences while building out an executive's unique voice and the needs of different audiences.

  • Plan the frequency and channels of communication, and coordinate with stakeholders across different areas of the business.

  • Support other members of the extended leadership team with key external speaking opportunities.

  • Build a source library of content that can be used in a multitude of ways to enable consistency across multiple channels.

  • Vet internal and external requests for executive involvement in a manner that aligns with the executive's platform.

  • Support key HR initiatives in partnership with global employee communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent practical experience (Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, Organizational Development, Content Creation preferred).

  • At least 8 years of experience in communications or executive communications.

  • At least 2 years in human resources or supporting human resources initiatives, with a broad knowledge of HR topics and strategies.

  • Experience in organizational change management, leveraging communication to drive change.

  • Ability to balance competing priorities and manage several time-sensitive projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.

  • Demonstrated executive maturity and an ability to work effectively with senior executives.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

  • Experience meeting deadlines, finding the story, eliciting input, and connecting messages to what people want to learn

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience as a speechwriter or storyteller for executives in the human resources function.

  • Excellent creative and visual skills including slide design with experience using presentation software

  • Experience keeping up with a rapid paced technology environment.

  • Familiarity with social media

  • Effective team player who can lead efforts across disciplines.

POSITION SUMMARY: As the Global Partner Business Manager, Strategic Partners you will drive the relationships with assigned Citrix partner(s) to pursue large market opportunities and support the long-term growth of Citrix focused on Citrix Workspace with Intelligence as a platform, move to the cloud, and new business models. This position reports directly to the Head, Global Service Providers / System Integrators / ISVs. This is a highly visible and senior role that will interact directly with the executive levels at the partners and at Citrix and will engage with a broad variety of executive stakeholders. The role embodies the entrepreneurial energy, network and resources to lead a strategic partner relationship to a "win-win" success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Strategy & Performance: Is responsible for building a vision, evangelize, engage and enable partners to pursue "win-win" business plans, drive market share and incremental revenue for Citrix and its strategic partners. To execute on these plans, is responsible to build a matrix team that develops and executes against these plans and exceeds performance on transformational goals and revenue targets. * New Business Development: Draw upon deep understanding of complex market dynamics to identify and drive new market opportunities for the partnership(s). Structure and leverage appropriate partners models to achieve mutually beneficial business results and drive execution of related partnership agreements. Secure the necessary internal and external stakeholder support across involved functional areas including geographic partner management and sales teams. * Partnership Transformation: Foster development of partner services capacity, assets and IP in growth areas and spearhead efforts to drive Citrix as a platform adoption in the partner's own business. * GTM Engagement: Drive the successful execution of joint go-to-market activities with assigned Global Strategic Partner(s) and the Citrix field. Achieve partner-driven revenue targets as relevant for assigned partner(s) and directly engage in key sales opportunities. * Co-innovation. Drive co-innovation initiatives with assigned Global Strategic Partner(s) in concert with Citrix development / engineering, product management, and field stakeholders. Foster new solutions on Citrix Workspace with Intelligence as a platform, capitalizing on partner domain expertise. Facilitate development of joint solution and/or technology road maps (depending on nature of partnership). Expand "better together" opportunities for networking and for user and applications security, building customer value in the market with partner solutions. * Partnership Governance: Plan and manage assigned strategic partnership(s) to foster executive alignment, execution, and achievement of planned business outcomes. Create strategic business plan for partnership(s) to enhance mutual value and impact. Facilitate top-to-top meetings and ensure effective preparation, briefing, alignment, and execution for key executive meetings and executive leadership team updates. Manage partner escalations and drive issue resolution. Operate with a "One Citrix" approach across the broader Citrix organization to ensure effective and coherent partner engagement across executive leadership areas, geographies, and business/ market segments. * Best Practice Champion: . Serve as a collaborative exemplar of Citrix's strategic partner management capabilities across the company's strategic relationships, fostering a collaborative environment for sharing best practices. Openly embrace and capitalize on the winning practices of others to drive continuous improvement. Identify and, as appropriate, spearhead enhancements to Citrix's partner management processes and structures. * Global Scope: Working with partners and Citrix teams in all regions driving best practice adoption and improved partner experience Requirements: * Bachelor's degree from top-tier university or equivalent experience; MBA or advanced degree * 10+ yrs of senior, partner-level experience at a top global system integration/management consulting/outsourcing firm; regular C-level engagement. Successful leadership of large business units/service lines exceeding $500 million annual revenue. * Successful track record negotiating large-scale, complex business agreements and transactions (in excess of $50 million). * Experience structuring and engaging in multiple partnering models (e.g., co-selling, value-added reselling, OEM, cloud). * Demonstrated capacity for operating globally, having driven significant business results in multiple geographies and/or achieved success with global scope. * Travel: Up to 50% travel required Qualifications: * Industry expertise. Knowledge of relevant market, competitive, and technology trends influencing employee experience.
