Executive Communications Associate, Writer

Meta is looking for a writer to assist with executive briefing and writing. This role will be responsible for drafting prep materials ahead of [a top executive's] media interviews, podcasts, and creator conversations and will also be tasked with drafting and editing scripts and blog and social posts.

The ideal candidate will have a portfolio of material that proves an ability to convey nuanced ideas about products and policies in clear, concise, and elegant prose. An ability to communicate complex concepts in simple language is crucial -- and proven deadline writing is critical. We're looking for a team player who can partner closely with cross-functional partners to develop messaging and also serve as a writing resource for the core team.BA in journalism, communications or a related field 3+ years in a copyeditor, speechwriter or writer role in tech, politics, media or business Proven research and analytical skills Experience managing multiple projects at once Experience creating and drafting statements on tight deadlines Experience distilling complex technology or policy issues into simplified language
