We are seeking an exceptionally talented Executive Chef with high-end catering and high-volume production experience for a prestigious private day school in Seattle, WA.

The Executive Chef is responsible for supporting the Director with all aspects of the account: catering, service, production, sanitation, team development and financial performance.

Our Managers have drive and passion for what they do. They design menus that reflect the communities they serve.

They write these menus at the venue. Our Managers hire their teams, manage orders, inventory, catering, and lead talent management. Our Managers care about their campus communities, and the relationships they form make the career choice to work for SAGE that much more enjoyable. Our clients are appreciative, as they see the hard work that we produce at every meal, and they see the passion we put into our scratch menus.

The Executive Chef must have a true passion for people and food. The ideal candidate has a CAN DO!! attitude, strong communication skills, high energy and enthusiasm.

The best candidate will enjoy current food trends, experience planning and executing menus that cater to all diets, and have nutritional and wellness awareness. In addition, the ideal employee will have great skills: people, planning, organizational, computer, and customer service.

Our best managers are as skilled in front of the house presentation as they are in the kitchen.

All management positions are salaried and paid year round.

Schedule is typically weekdays, however, special catering events may occur on weeknights or over the weekends. May also cover for the other managers, if needed.
