Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain the Topgolf Culinary Experience; it's famous and fantastic!!

  • Train, support, develop and manage the kitchen staff and supervise/coordinate all related culinary activities;

  • Estimate food consumption,

  • Monitor inventory and purchase product as needed;

  • Maintain food and labor costs according to budget;

  • Select and develop recipes, standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality;

  • Establish presentation technique and quality standards;

  • Plan and price menus;

  • Ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance; and ensure proper safety and sanitation in the kitchen.

  • Directly supervise kitchen personnel with responsibility for hiring, discipline, performance reviews and initiating pay increases.

  • Must have the ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on food quality and customer service is essential to success in this role.

  • Previous experience with inventory and labor cost.

  • Demonstrate cooking, menu development and pricing.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 or more years in culinary management. Development of culinary team required

  • Bachelor's degree or related culinary degree, preferred.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods of time

They are also responsible to ensure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and that the department is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner in accordance with companys mission, vision, and values. Responsibilities: * Ensure the dining experience created for all residents, family members and visitors is of high quality including menu selection, meal preparation, meal presentation, food taste and meal service. * Plan, prepare, present and deliver all meals in the community, making sure they are of high quality, palatable and appetizing. * Prepare and maintain annual budget request for supplies, equipment, and staffing requirement. * Recruit, develop, manage and schedule department staff. * Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards. * Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments. Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years of age. * High school diploma or equivalent. College course or other education in food service and/or management preferred. * Prefer one (1) year experience working in a restaurant or similar environment as a lead/head cook. * Prefer one (1) year experience supervising and managing employees. * Flexibility in work schedule as evidenced by working holidays, evenings, weekends and additional shifts when necessary to ensure adequate coverage within the department. * Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint etc.) * Must pass a criminal background check before beginning work.
