Our client's core values are Dedication, Collaboration, Service Excellence, and Trustworthiness. About the Role: The Executive Chef will lead a team of 70 to 80 people responsible for the overall culinary direction and execution of all catering events.
This role demands a creative, strategic leader who can inspire and train a team while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This role requires a culinary visionary with solid communication, organization, and financial acumen to ensure the success of catering operations. Responsibilities: Leading and managing daily operations of all kitchen departments, including budgetary and financial responsibilities.
Develop and implement innovative culinary concepts and trends that align with the company while keeping up or ahead of industry trends. Conceptualize, develop, train, and execute diverse menus at events for a wide range of client preferences and dietary restrictions. Ensure menus are cost-effective and profitable while maintaining exceptional quality.
Optimize kitchen efficiency and workflow to maximize productivity. Demonstrate and uphold their core values and standards with the culinary team. Qualifications: 7-10 years minimum leading high-performing teams in the same or similar function, a passion for culinary excellence in high-volume, fast-paced catering environments.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams with a calm and controlled demeanor. Professional, enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player. Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
In-depth knowledge of menu and recipe creation, food cost control, purchasing, and inventory management. Pay range and compensation package: Generous salary and benefits package Location: Costa Mesa, CA
