Incredible opportunity for a chef to come in with their own creative vision and reconcept an existing restaurant on the Westside. This concept presently features a California-Italian menu and is looking to bring in a chef who is looking to make a name for themselves, including bringing fresh ideas and menu.

The team is looking to continue utilizing a wood-burning oven, keeping things seasonal and fresh, elevated, but very open to new flavor profiles and ideas. Not looking for overly composed or precious plating. Looking for a talented Chef who is also a leader and knows how to run the financial aspects of the kitchen.

Rare profit sharing Executive Chef Responsibilities: Develop a new menu with clear identity Collaborate with ownership on the vision, including continue to be seasonal in nature and working with farm sources Scheduling, hiring, training and mentoring culinary team members Proactively manage orders, inventory, costs, and budgets Follow best practices and uphold high standards for safety and sanitation in the kitchen Executive Chef Preferred Requirements: 3 years of experience in a similar position (Executive Chef, Head Chef or Chef de Cuisine) Passion for procuring farm-to-table ingredients and using locally sourced products whenever possible Familiar with cost control measures, ordering, vendor management, invoices, scheduling, hiring, performance management Kitchen Spanish preferred Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities: team focused, and people driven Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety regulations Flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays Compensation in the $100-115k range profit sharing
