SAGE Dining Services is seeking a highly qualified executive chef with high end catering and large volume production experience for a private college in Dallas, TX.
The Executive Chef is responsible for supporting the Director with all aspects of the account: catering, service, production, sanitation, team development and financial performance.
We are actively interviewing candidates for the Dallas area. Our Chefs are hands-on, delivering exceptional dining experiences that delight the senses, inspire minds and foster community.
Our best managers are as skilled in front of the house presentation and theatrics as they are in the kitchen. Our clients are incredible independent schools and colleges with gorgeous campuses and the communities appreciate the culinary delights we present as they understand the creativity and hard work that we put into the menus.
Our chefs and culinary teams are talented individuals who know how to prepare a great meal! Menus, written by our chefs and prepared from scratch, reflect local and regional foods, flavors, and culinary styles.
Our culinary team's cooking methods, recipe development and expertise make every dining experience truly unique. Our catering events rival five-star restaurants.
This is a management salaried year-round position. Although this is a college, the schedule is Monday through Friday, with very little weekend catering.
We run a few weeks on and a week off fairly regularly. We can discuss during the interview. Often when we have an off week, we may aid a nearby SAGE venue for their special event or if a manager is out. Since this is a retail venue, our managers have a knack for creating popular community specials, LTOs and pop-up events that wow the students and faculty to increase sales and increase guest satisfaction.
