Executive Chef ~ Private College

SAGE Dining Services is seeking a highly qualified Executive Chef with expertise in high-end catering and large volume production for a private college in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

The Executive Chef is responsible for supporting the Director with all aspects of the account: catering, service, production, sanitation, team development and financial performance.

Our Managers are driven and passionate about their work, designing menus that reflect the communities they serve and crafting them on-site. They are responsible for hiring their teams, managing orders and inventory, overseeing catering, and leading talent management.

Our culinary teams are deeply invested in their campus communities, and the relationships they build make working for SAGE particularly rewarding. Our clients appreciate the hard work and dedication we put into every meal, as well as the passion reflected in our scratch-made menus.

Candidates should demonstrate a CAN-DO attitude, exceptional communication skills, high energy, and enthusiasm. They should be passionate about current food trends, with experience in planning and executing vegan and vegetarian menus, and have a solid understanding of nutrition and wellness. Additionally, the best candidate will excel in people management, planning, organization, computer proficiency, and customer service.

This is a seven-day-a-week operation, so the schedule will include at least one weekend day. In addition to managing the meal service menus, we also run a popular coffee shop and a summer catering program.
