Executive Chef

Responsible for optimizing profits by controlling food cost, production, labor and increase sales through food quality, speed of service, and food preparation to specifications in the back-of-the-house. Supervises the execution of and oversees all kitchen operations, ensuring Kona Grill's standards of quality and service are met and that the kitchen provides nutritious, safe, eye-appealing, properly flavored food, while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment for all employees.

We are looking for EC's who:

  • Must have a minimum of 5-7 years' experience in a hospitality management role; preferably in a full service and/or upscale restaurant concept.

  • Demonstrates a genuine enthusiasm and warmth towards the Guest and attitude of Service. Is self-motivated and competitive. Is driven to grow and develop personally while developing those around them.

  • Has the ability to supervise, coach, develops, lead & motivate employees.

  • Can establish, maintain and enforce consistently high performance standards.

  • Is capable of adapting his/her leadership style to a variety of situations and scenarios.

  • Have the ability to communicate effectively, including the ability to speak and write in English. Ability to listen effectively, process information quickly, and transfer knowledge to others in order to ensure standards of quality are met consistently.

  • Can provide employees with the orientation and training needed to understand expectations and perform job responsibilities

  • Communicates performance expectations and provides employees with on-going feedback

Primary Responsibilities: * Accountable to sell RCM solutions / services to new and / or existing clients in the Provider market * Responsible for individual growth quota to expand and ensure delivery of Optum's solutions within their assigned product or solutions set * Sell and / or manage complex solutions spanning Optum's portfolio, inclusive of individual, market and / or enterprise solutions, to existing and prospective clients * Possess or develop subject matter expertise and knowledge on Optum solutions / products / services designed to engage consumers, modernize infrastructure and advance care across the health care industry, inclusive of individual, market and / or enterprise solutions * Participate in, and at times own / lead, sales process and client engagement through the sale, coordinating with all necessary parties (ex. legal, pricing, finance, etc.) to close a sale * Engage, build relationships and sell solutions / services across a variety of client channels, including direct to clients and at times brokers / consultants * Cultivate and deepen C - suite and / or complex client relationships * Develop consultative relationships and be a trusted advisor to the client to demonstrate how Optum can provide value for the client to meet their objectives and improve the health system * Ability to work independently as a strong team player with minimal supervision in a high paced, high intensity environment * Communicate and present effectively at multiple audiences and levels (listening, written and verbal communication) Required Qualifications: * Bachelor degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related area or equivalent work experience * 7 years' experience in provider healthcare revenue cycle services / solution sales * Proven track record of achieving or exceeding annual Sales Target * Strong experience of consultative selling at the C - Suite Level Provider Solutions / Services * Ability to travel extensively - minimum of 75% travel * Ability to work effectively and independently in a flexible, unstructured high intensity, fast paced geographically diverse environment * Demonstrated ability to work effectively with matrix teams and other individuals at varying levels of the organization with a demonstrated ability to create, build, and maintain relationships * Superior communication skills - listening, written, and verbal communication * Strong strategic thinking and critical thinking skills * Demonstrated time - management and execution skills * Ability to prioritize and multi - task and to deliver results within short timeframes Preferred Qualifications: * HFMA Certification Careers with Optum.
