Redmond Regional Medical Center is looking for an Executive Chef (Full-Time).
General Essential Functions:
Demonstrates the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist. Meets mutually agreed upon performance goals/ objectives established annually as listed on the Performance Management Plan.
Integrates ethics in all areas of practice. Adheres to confidentiality and patient's rights policies.
Supports the facilities' mission and values.
Responsible for the management of day-to-day culinary operations.
Utilizes, monitors, and drives systems to support compliance with food safety (HACCP).
Supports department sanitation, ensures patient safety, and complies with OSHA and HIPPA guidelines.
Assists in hiring process of potential employees, coaches and works with current employees.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High School Degree / Equivalent
3-5 years food service healthcare experience preferred
Formal Culinary Training preferred
Knowledge of PATIENT SAFETY science principles, theory, methods, standards, and regulatory requirements and experience with patient safety analysis techniques, including root cause analysis, cause and effect analysis, and failure mode and effect analysis.
Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire.
