Urban Restaurants Group is thrilled to announce a new opportunity for an Executive Chef at Kennedy s Steakhouse, our latest culinary venture in Eugene, Oregon. We are seeking an innovative and passionate chef to lead our kitchen team and deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities: Develop and execute a creative and innovative menu that showcases the best of modern steakhouse cuisine while incorporating seasonal ingredients and local flavors. Lead and mentor the kitchen team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and growth. Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.

Manage food costs, inventory, and ordering to meet budgetary goals while maintaining high standards of quality and freshness. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, as well as all relevant health regulations. Requirements: Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume, upscale restaurant setting, preferably with steakhouse experience.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Creativity and passion for culinary excellence, with a keen eye for detail and presentation. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
