Sodexo is seeking an experienced Executive Chef 3 for a high profile government facility located in McLean, VA.

The Executive Chef 3 will be responsible for the directing, planning and coordinating of all retail dining front of the house and back of the house systems to support food quality, customer service and strict adherence to company policy and procedures. The position will also oversee a catering program. The Executive Chef 3 will be responsible for the direction and leadership of 75-100 hourly front-line staff while managing the client relationship.

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a security clearance from the U.S. government

The successful candidate will:

• be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;
• ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
• have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
• ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or
• have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience

• 3 years

Basic Functional Experience

• 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
