Leading the food operation at this 240 bed hospital the Executive Chef will be apart of a hospital that is rich is Jewish tradition known for its excellent experience in labor and delivery.

Are you the experienced Executive Chef we're seeking?

We are looking for candidates who will:

  • have oversight of day-to-day operations;
  • deliver high quality food for patient services;
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
  • evelop and maintain client and customer relationships;
  • develop strategic plans;

  • has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
  • has culinary production experience and a strong background in food safety and sanitation compliance;
  • has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
  • can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
  • can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

Position Summary

Provides culinary leadership within a medium sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution. Key Duties- Implements & coordinates the culinary function.

  • Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.- Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.- Manages catering & retail areas.- Customer & Client satisfaction.- Financial management to include food cost & labor management.- Manages food & physical safety programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement

  • Associate's Degree Basic Management Experience

  • 2 years Basic Functional Experience

Emphasis will be placed on identifying and converting sales targets, including detailed tracking of sales prospects to establish a qualified pipeline, and activities including customer presentations, product demonstrations, and closing business. The Sales Executive will coordinate involvement of Solutions Consultants and Professional Services as required. Responsibilities: * Maximizes territory potential through targeting prospects, qualifying, conducting customer meetings and demonstrating the product. * Generates new target prospects through research, networking, and referrals. * Converts target prospects to sales opportunities by identifying alignment of critical business needs with company's solutions and services. * Develops proposals together with Sales Engineering and Professional Services. * Works closely with sales management to prioritize opportunities and execute sales strategies to exceed quota expectations. * Submits standard sales metrics, such as, weekly forecasts, pipeline management, business plans, and expense reports on a regular and timely basis * Maintain the CRM for opportunity and contact management.
