Executive Casino Host - Full Time (Harrah's Laughlin)

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for fulfilling the duties of an Executive Casino Host, to include:

Responsibility for growth of revenues through the development of our customer base. The Host maintains and creates relationships with valued gaming guests and markets our gaming product to potential high-limit guests. The hosting function is also responsible for creating and coordinating special events/promotions targeted at our best gaming guests.

Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, team building and problem-solving skills. The ability to calmly handle stressful situations and willingness to work any shift and long hours when necessary. Must have excellent track record or personally providing excellent customer service.

Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work as a team. Must be able to make sound comping decisions based on customer-tracked play. Must present a well-groomed professional appearance. Casino Host experience preferred.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS: Greets guests in the casino and participates in social events and special promotions; uses sound judgment and makes decisions in accordance with established comp and expense guidelines; handles difficult guests and situations in a calm, professional and prudent manner; maintains close ties with customers to engender loyalty; anticipates, responds to , and consistently meets or exceeds the needs of guests including, but not limited to event, transportation and accommodation arrangements; seamless coordination with Account Executive, Sales Executive, and Flight Executive Sales teams; proactively identifies and resolves service failures; taking immediate action to resolve service gaps; identifies ways to increase efficiencies and to improve products or service; clearly communicates programs/services to necessary people, seeks their support and keeps them informed of changes that may impact business; keeps track of existing products/services and/or progress on new initiatives; must be knowledgeable of all happenings on property and in-market; fully complies with and upholds company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, industry regulations, department goals and business strategy

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Gaming Registration and Alcohol Awareness Cards required
