Job Description Job Description SUMMARY Key governance and administrative support for the ISA Board of Directors and CEO & Executive Director. This includes support for various Board and staff leadership committees.

Key role in managing ISA Board Governance and ISA Policies and procedures. Creates and manages correspondence, research, and gathers information, schedules meetings, creates and manages agendas, minutes, travel logistics, coordinating conference calls, and other support and governance related activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Other duties may be assigned. Understands ISA’s Vision Statement and adheres to ISA staff core values. Maintains and ensures confidentiality of all written and verbal communications.

Manages policies, procedures and governance for the Board of Directors. Develops, implements, and utilizes planning, scheduling and tracking systems, to provide effective administrative support services for the Board and CEO & Executive Director; o Assisting the CEO & Executive Director with maintaining and scheduling appointments including, but not limited to, meeting preparation and follow up. o Administrative duties as necessary. · Maintains and ensures confidentiality of all written and verbal communications with the CEO & Executive Director and leadership team. Provide governance and staff support for Board meetings and conference calls: o Creates and compiles materials for ISA Board meetings. o Takes minutes at the ISA Board and board committee meetings, coordinates approval process; posts and distributes approved minutes.

Conducts research, compiles and analyzes data, and prepares papers and presentations for consideration by the CEO & Executive Director, ISA Board and Board committees. Maintains governance policy documentation and templates. Maintains a working knowledge of Board Policy Manual. · Provides logistical support for the ISA Board and Board committee meetings.

Maintains CEO & Executive Director schedule. Assists with in-person and virtual meeting logistics. . · Provides exceptional service to external partners, callers, and visitors. · Other duties as requested. Supervisory Responsibilities None QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education and/or Experience Two-year associates degree in a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred and/or two to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills Demonstrated strong written and verbal English communication skills. Fluency in additional languages other than English is a plus. Decision Making/Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and determine appropriate action plans.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret data and spreadsheets. Ability and confidence to proactively manage-up to the Executive Director. Additional Competencies Adheres to the strictest of confidentiality in performance of all job duties. · Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and to juggle several projects at once with a spirit of flexibility and positive outlook. · Technology, policy, and governance experience Strong interpersonal skills to build solid professional relationships and ability to effectively work with a variety of individuals. · Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. · Highly proactive and self-motivated.

Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Regularly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Frequently communicates with internal and external customers.

This position requires occasional lifting, under 25 lbs. Working conditions are normal for an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. Travel for board and other key meetings globally Necessary to work weekends, US holidays and outside of 8-5 eastern standard time.

Technology and Equipment Various software including but not limited to: Microsoft Office Windows SharePoint Proprietary database system and internal cloud based software solutions a hybrid work setting two to three days per week to foster teamwork and collaboration.
