The Department of Technology, Management and Budget supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems.
Executive Secretary to the Logistics & Operations Support Division (LOS) Director. The Logistics & Operations Support division includes Delivery Services, Warehouse Services (Depot Logistics and Forms & Publications), Surplus Services, Records Management Services, and the Archives of Michigan. Act as the Director's assistant by performing a variety of administrative support activities to assist the Director in the management of the division. Serve as the HR Liaison for LOS. Provide technical assistance and informational support for LOS.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Highly developed oral and writing communications
People empathy and mature logical judgement.
Computer skills in MS Office products required.
Technical knowledge in business operations desired.
Extensive knowledge of Michigan State Governmental organization helpful.

Education
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school.
Experience
Five years of administrative support experience where use of a personal computer to prepare correspondence, reports, charts, etc., or to enter/retrieve/update information is an essential part of the work, including two years equivalent to advanced (8) level administrative support work, Secretary E8, or Legal Secretary E8; or, one year equivalent to a Secretary 9, Legal Secretary 9, or Senior Executive Management Assistant 9.Certain positions may require a criminal history background check.
