As part of a small, hardworking and accomplished team of specialists, you will support in the development of spaceflight vehicles. We are seeking a proactive individual with excellent administrative and organizational skills that can thrive in a fast paced environment supporting the SVP of HR. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.

Responsibilities:

  • Executive support
  • Work closely and effectively with the SVP HR and senior management to keep them well-informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. Exercise good judgment while maintaining a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
  • Calendar
  • Manage a very active calendar of appointments. Plan, coordinate and ensure the schedule is followed and respected. Provide gatekeeper and gateway role, creating successful situations for direct access to executives.
  • Travel
  • Arrange complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; compile documents for travel-related meetings. expense reports.
  • Writing & Editing
  • Compose and prepare draft documents and correspondence that are sometimes confidential. Review customer facing white papers and proposals for quality and grammar.
  • Tasks
  • Successfully complete tasks and critical aspects of deliverables.
  • Projects
  • Work independently on projects, from conception to completion, under pressure at times, handling a wide variety of activities and confidentiality with discretion. These could include supporting recruiting priorities, setup of a research and development laboratory, and other ad hoc projects as required.
  • Organization
  • Using strong organizational skills, perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail. Prioritize conflicting needs. Handle matters expeditiously and proactively, following through on requirements to successful completion, often with deadline pressures. Adapt to competing demands.
  • Personnel
  • Using strong interpersonal skills, build relationships with partners.
  • Problem Solving
  • Demonstrate proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability. Demonstrate high attention to detail and flawless execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required

  • Strong work tenure: ive to ten years of experience supporting senior level executives, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point),

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and high customer service capabilities and delivery

  • Administrative skills, organizational skills and problem-solving skills. A bias for action.

  • Emotional maturity; positive, low-stress behavior, in words and actions

  • Proven track record of handling confidential information with discretion

This candidate can be remote within the U.S., and must be available for multiple, weekly meetings internally and externally. The Americas Project Manager will oversee and direct the project team(s) comprised of internal, client, and third-party vendor(s) partner team members. The US Project Manager responsibilities may include: * Utilize established PROJECT MANAGEMENT BEST PRACTICES to oversee steady state operations to ensure compliance to specified contract, scope, schedule, and budget requirements * Define and Manage assigned Projects to ensure agreed upon project requirements are defined, measured and completed * Initiate corrective action plans where required based upon service level failures (Internal or Customer related) * Manage any required "CHANGE" requests internally and externally to determine impact to the "triple constraints" (Cost, Schedule and Scope) * Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects * Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget * Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility with the project resources * Ensure resource availability and allocation * Develop a detailed project plan to track progress * Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs * Measure project performance using KPIs, appropriate systems, tools and techniques * Report and escalate to management as needed * Assist in managing the relationship with the client and all stakeholders * Perform risk management to minimize project risks * Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors * Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation * Coordinate and share project documentation via PM tools such as SharePoint with organized file structure. * Coordinate with Regional Project Managers to unify processes and strategies globally. Education & Experience: * Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent required.
