Job Scope:

Reporting to the President of Linde Gases US, this position will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the executive staff has adequate support to work efficiently. Qualified candidates will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy. The position will be located at the Sierra Pines Office, The Woodlands, Texas.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Primarily support for Linde Gases US executive management team.

  • Act as primary interface and communications liaison with internal and external Linde plc Executive's contacts.

  • Ideal candidate is expected to remain accessible and on call for assigned executive(s).

  • Expected to have a high level of discretion and confidentiality.

  • Manage Executive's calendar activity by resolving conflicts, scheduling/rescheduling meetings, and organizing travel arrangements.

  • Must be able to deal effectively with senior executives and to coordinate meetings and events with high-level participants.

  • Arrange meetings upon request of executive staff, order meals, and provide itineraries.

  • Prepare various types of communication for the business both internally and externally.

  • Must have demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Complete projects and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining cooperation of others; monitoring progress; problem-solving; making adjustments to plans.

  • Be able to perform complex assignments and to produce high visibility documents/ presentations.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Manage expense reports and record management for executives.

  • Will provide back-up services to other executive officers.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • 4 year degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • 10 years of administrative experience preferred, with 5-10 years prior experience supporting a senior executive (corporate suite officer preferred).

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required with Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel (Advanced Excel skills). Publisher preferred.

  • Experience in a corporate environment.

  • Must be professional, organized, and be able to provide optimal solutions.

  • Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information.
