Responsibilities

In this role the selected candidate will aid with correspondence, scheduling, conference preparation, document production, travel arrangements, and overall communications within the program office. They will assign and monitor deadlines for assigned actions and control the flow of routine correspondence. This assignment is to support senior military and DoD civilian executives and has high visibility. The selected candidate must be able to adapt to changing customer requirements and priorities.

Qualifications

  • Requires a BA/BS degree and 3 to 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

  • Superior proficiency with all aspects of MS Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Expertise in calendar functions of MS

  • Outlook Experience in using SharePoint for routine collaboration

  • Experience in using DoD time and attendance software applications

  • Proficiency in preparing travel orders using the Defense Travel System (DTS) Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to work on multi-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years support to senior military and civilian executives

  • Superior proficiency in all aspects of MS Office Expertise in calendar functions of MS Outlook Experience in using SharePoint for routine collaboration

  • Experience in using DoD time and attendance software applications

  • Proficiency using Defense Travel System (DTS)

  • Excellent communication skills

The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and possess and be able to maintain Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance, as a qualification and condition for employment.
