The Executive Assistant, Operations is responsible for business-critical support of our President & COO and Vice President Operations, including scheduling, project management, reporting, and other administrative duties. This role provides necessary structure, needs anticipation, and problem solving, enabling senior leaders to work effectively to fulfill commitments to ERDMAN?s employees, clients, and Board of Directors. The Executive Assistant, Operations will also serve as a swing resource to other areas of the business, including business development and corporate services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executive Planning & Coordination: Oversees and ensures the accuracy and timeliness of business planning, events, calendars, communication, and travel for the ERDMAN executive team. Responsible for developing reports and reporting packages, including Board presentations and is the liaison accountable for tracking progress of corporate initiatives.

  • Enterprise Business Analysis and Reporting: Serves as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of the organization. Monitors reporting in CRM and other applications, and recommends solutions that enable the organization to improve monitoring of its performance in achieving its goals.

  • Project Management: Prepares charters and strategies for project success and serves as the primary internal project liaison to bring the scope of work to completion within defined schedules and budgets.

As a Research Assistant (Study Technician) in our Madison, WI In-Life department, you will monitor the research animals' health and welfare using your experience in animal observation and your experience working with sample collections. Hourly Rate: $18.00 Job Responsibilities Include: * Monitoring of animal health and welfare in compliance with the Animal Welfare Act. * Collection, documentation and management of pertinent data from animal observations, test material administration and clinical sample collection. * Maintaining the facilities in accordance with the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AALAC). * Working in partnership with animal operations team to ensure study quality. What we're looking for Study Technicians are the most successful at Covance with: * A motivated, hardworking and positive work ethic, and a real passion for research. * Willingness to work rotating weekends, holidays and overtime with supplementary compensation. Working Conditions: * Overtime and weekend work as required. * Mandatory immunizations and screening as required. * May work with potentially hazardous substances not limited to known /potential teratogens or carcinogens and/or radiolabeled test materials. * Work will require PPE (personal protective equipment). * Study Technicians work in a laboratory setting with laboratory animals (ie rodents, canine, primates, rabbits, pigs, etc) and often in small or confined spaces. Education/Qualifications * Bachelor degree in Life Sciences * Associate degree in Laboratory Animal Technology, Veterinary Technology, or in Histology (along with 6 months to2 years of related experience) Experience * No experience is required with a Bachelor Degree. * 6 months to 2 years of related external experience with an Associate Degree.
