Roles & Responsibilities:
Coordinates and schedules appointments, meetings and conferences. Reserves conference rooms, sets up agendas and makes travel arrangements.
Triages phone calls and respond to inquiries; page and/or transfer calls to various administrators and associated staff as appropriate
Provides assistance, guidance and direction to visitors; ascertains the nature of their business; assists and/or directs clients and visitors to various locations in the hospital when appropriate
Performs recordkeeping related to payroll, petty cash, purchase orders and inventory of equipment and supplies. Processes requests and vouchers accurately and expeditiously.
Uses independent judgment to investigate and resolve payroll, purchasing and other office related issues
High School degree required. Associates or Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Two to three years secretarial and office experience. Formal secretarial training preferred Computer literacy with experience in word processing and database software.
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
