The Executive Assistant plays a key, hands-on role as part of providing support to our Co-CEO. The ideal person is a tactical genius and handles all the day to day details such as email, social media, travel, communications, etc. You will be responsible for maximizing the Co-CEOs reach through your exceptional leadership and communications skills. You must be a flexible problem solver, able to adapt and pivot quickly. You must be detail oriented and have impeccable organizational skills.


Essential Functions:

  • Managing the Executive! Manage the day to day administrative tasks for the Executive
  • Handle all communication on behalf of the Executive (Calls, emails, social media, staff requests, meeting follow-up, etc)
  • Act as the eyes and ears for the executive and make recommendations as needed and be the information hub for the executive team
  • Plan, organize, and implement events such as meetings, conferences, training events, dinners, etc.
  • Implement and improve systems and processes for the Executive and organization.
  • Manage schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Conduct research, analyze data, and provide reports & presentations for the Executive
  • May act as a personal assistant (15% of the time)
  • Prioritize what needs the most attention from the Executive
  • Train, manage, and supervise other assistants in the organization


  • Must have at least 7+ years of experience
  • Bachelors in Communications or Marketing, or other related field required
  • Solid understanding of modern technology tools such as Gsuite, Apple products, Linkedin, Slack, etc.
  • Growth mindset with high emotional intelligence
  • Proven track record of being a force multiplier for an executive
  • Highly adaptive to change and can operate effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Experience with start-ups is a plus
  • Understands value of design and aesthetics
  • Impeccable work ethic, dedicated, can do attitude, and intrinsically motivated
  • The ideal candidate will be located in the tri-state area (NY, CT and NJ), Hudson Valley preferred, but not necessary

With over 700 retail locations throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Delaware and Texas Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. About the Position of Assistant Manager The Assistant Manager is responsible for the efficient operation of the repair shop. The individual will be responsible for scheduling mechanics/technicians work, ordering parts, ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs exceeding customer expectations, the safety of personnel and housekeeping of the shop. Candidates must be, knowledgeable of under-car repairs, alignments, tires and exhaust systems, as well as, possess basic math and pc skills. Communicates safety and mechanical issues to the store manager to relate to the customer. Basic supervisory/leadership skills are also required to be fully effective in the role. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and under-car repair services needed. This is a sales oriented position requiring prior sales experience in products/services requiring up selling techniques. Knowledge of repairs and the automotive industry a plus.
