HistoWiz is the largest online histopathology company, based in New York City. Our mission is to help biomedical researchers find cures by accelerating histopathology and enabling global collaboration. We are looking for a dedicated and mature executive assistant to join our fast-growing team.

Since inception in 2013, we have doubled our month-over-month sales, driven primarily by customer referrals. We are profitable, won numerous awards and are funded by prestigious investors, including Y-Combinator and Zhenfund. We are seasoned scientists with experience at leading academic institutions and have published high impact research in top journals of biomedicine.

HistoWiz has over 1,000 paying customers globally from top academic institutions (e.g. MSKCC, Harvard, Stanford, HHMI) and pharmaceutical companies (e.g. CRISPR, Johnson & Johnson, Regeneron). We process tissue specimens and digitize all of the results, hosting our clients data on a proprietary platform, PathologyMapTM . This platform not only enables industry-leading turnaround time for diagnosis, but also online viewing, sharing and search. No other platform like this exists, so we are truly building something new that can bridge scientists, doctors, and patients from all over the world to conquer life-threatening diseases collaboratively instead of individually. This online platform also contains the worlds largest collection of pathology data and the first network of top pathologists.

Who are you?

The ideal candidate will work well under pressure and deadlines in a disciplined manner. You should be able to balance changing priorities and possess excellent problem solving skills. You are someone who is eager to learn and is ready for a lot of responsibilities.

Main duties:

  • Work directly with CEO and COO on a day-to-day basis
  • Manages executives schedule and acts as liaison for CEO with primary clients and investors
  • Prepares information and research for executive needs
  • Keep the office organized and office supplies in stock
  • Plans/organizes and implements events such as meetings, business luncheons, or client dinners
  • Arranges travel, accommodation, itineraries, manages office supplies, monitor press activity
  • Prepares reports, presentations, and data, as well as maintaining files, records, and correspondence for meetings
  • Maintains clerical duties, taking memos, photocopying, organizing digital documents
  • Plan employee team building activities.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Schedule flexibility and ability to be on call outside of work hours
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively
  • Previous experience in an executive assistant or similar role

The individual should love building relationship, understanding others' point of view, and constant learning and experimentation.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><h3><br></h3><h3>Mandate</h3><p>This is a quota carrying role that is responsible for executing our sales process. They will pair closely with the growth team to understand what is working and why. They will pair with the product team post-close to handoff customer relationships. Their clear objective is to hunt potential customers who are using existing DAMs and would spend +$20,000 to migrate to Air. Anything other than this is a distraction and should be avoided. This is a 50/50 role between fixed base and incentive pay and the upside is uncapped. Today our largest customers spend ~$80,000 on Air.</p><p><br></p><p>This role is tasked with accelerating our existing sales process.
