Job Summary and Qualifications

  • You will, under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, Div Chief Nursing Executive and Div President, provide support in coordinating the daily operations of Financial, Operational and Medical Staff Service aspects of Administration

  • You will ensure that administrative functions are carried out promptly, compile and maintain administrative files, prepare all Board of Trustees' and other Committee financial materials, and ensure the timely submission of all communications to the Corporate/Division offices

  • You will make administrative decisions and takes action on behalf of the DCFO, DCNE, and Division President, within agreed upon limitations

  • You will demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of hospital policies and personnel and will be responsible for scheduling and preparing agenda for regular and special meetings, for securing requested information and for compiling various reports and studies, exercising frequent independent and considerable judgment and discretion in handling matters of significance as it relates to financial services and contracts

  • You will manage requests for appointments and telephone calls for the Administrative Suite, routing them to others or dealing with them on your own initiative when appropriate. You will also handle all correspondence not requiring personal attention of DCFO, DCNE and Division President. You may take and/ or transcribe confidential or highly technical dictation, keep minutes of meetings and perform other secretarial functions

What qualifications you will need:

  • High School Graduate

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an administrative or executive secretary position or similar experience. In lieu of experience a degree in Healthcare Administration or enrollment in Healthcare Administration degree program will be considered

  • Experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred
