About this role:

In this role you will support our VP of Search Technology and our VP of Product Knowledge! This is a strategic role directly partnering and supporting the VPs, and has a strong focus on the goals of the leadership team to prioritize and improve efficiency for the organization. This person will be professional, discreet, approachable, upbeat, and a go-to person who is a positive reflection of both Executives and their teams. They will also interact with other members of eBay's Core Product Leadership Team and their staff.

This position requires the individual to exercise judgment and initiative, practice a high degree of flexibility, operate optimally in a fast paced environment and multi-task in order to get the job done.

What you will accomplish:

  • Calendar management responsibility for internal and external meetings-using insight, decision-making, and prioritization skills with regards to managing action items

  • Preparing and managing confidential information. Being privy to such critical information there is a need to maintain good practice with integrity and subtlety

  • Planning/project management skills to coordinate employee/client events

  • Managing and balancing expense reports and purchase requisition submissions

  • Coordinate and organize any vital travel for those you support

  • Appropriately and strategically interact with senior level executives within and outside the company, as well as with customers, vendors and visitors

What you will bring:

  • Dedication to working onsite +3 days per week in our San Jose office in alignment with our company policy. It is vital that you are onsite when the leaders you support are onsite.

  • Bachelor's or Associates Degree in business related field

  • Minimum of 5+ years of executive administrative experience.

  • Strong Technical skills: proficient in MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, & concur

  • Excellent communication skills; ability to prioritize, take direction, and work independently on projects

  • Customer focused attitude, with a desire and ability to positively influence the culture of the department and the company

  • Quick learner of new technology, processes, and change directions quickly

  • A genuine curiosity about the business and a desire to understand how we function, why we function, who our clients are, and what our industry is about

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.

$56,800 - $117,150

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
