The expected annual salary range for this role is $63749.97 - $93499.96 a year.

What you'll do:

Eaton's Corporate Technology Office is currently seeking an Executive Assistant to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, OH location, candidates must be located within a 50-mile radius of Beachwood, OH to be considered.

Position Overview:

The Eaton CTO Engineering Functional Excellence Department is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide support to the Vice President Engineering Functional Excellence, as well as the extended team. While you will handle the more customary administrative responsibilities such as travel arrangements, calendaring, expense reports, filing, coordinating group meetings, etc., you will also be responsible for tasks such as supporting knowledge management. The successful candidate will prove value-added administrative support utilizing previous experience, strong problem-solving ability, balance judgement and communication skills, and is comfortable multi-tasking and juggling a number of priorities. This position will interact locally and internationally with Corporate, the Divisions and Functions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Management of the calendars for Vice President Engineering Excellence and his two direct reports VP.

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and events (e.g. catering orders, video conference coordination, other logistics).

  • Conduct event planning and execution which includes co-ordination for visiting CTO leadership management, acting as host and first point of contact in the run up to, and during site visits.

  • Collaborate with the CTO Executive Assistant to plan and execute priorities including large event planning (Global Engineering & Technology Summit and CTO LT off sites) as required.

  • Provide vacation support for the CTO Executive Assistant.

  • Manage expense reports and coordinate domestic & international travel for the Engineering Functional Excellence leadership team (including itineraries, passports, visa's, etc.).

  • Work on operational matters such as expense reporting, signature collection & organizational charts.

  • Prepare documents, presentations and spreadsheets; organize files and retrieve documentation (both electronic and hard copy) in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, Eaton's policies and business needs

  • Provide administrative and technology support effectively utilizing the current version of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other software packages such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.

  • Partner and network with other administrative assistants in order to manage calendars, obtain information, and solve problems.

  • Represent the Engineering Functional Excellence department with trust and professionalism as a key member of the team

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with members of CTO Leadership team and senior executives at all levels of the company

  • Coordinate / support other ad-hoc business-related projects across all CTO business functions as required, including continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma from an accredited institution required.

  • Minimum of 5 years administrative experience working with executive level leaders in a global business.

  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates currently located within a 50-mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred.

  • Tech Savvy with advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and Teams.

  • Strong process orientation in terms of juggling multiple priorities and sharing of knowledge for this team-based environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with senior management from both within and outside of the organization.

  • Must maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive material and information with discretion and professionalism.
