Serves as Executive Assistant and advisor to the Executive Director/Executive Deputy Director, at the Directorate level.
The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12/13.

Provides executive advisory service to the Director/Executive Deputy Director, on management, administrative, and programmatic matters which support accomplishment of the DCMA mission.
Researches policy, regulations, and procedures to determine appropriate action.
Analyzes information and data and assesses progress of programs, projects, and processes.
Organizes, manages, and presents information to the Director/Executive Deputy Director, to include recommendations on appropriate action.
Develops plans and objectives for assigned projects. Initiates and conducts studies and analyses on projects, issues, and problem cases.
Attends meetings, briefings, and conferences as appropriate, on matters relating to the Director/Executive Deputy Director activities, actions, and programs.
25% or less - Business travel is required 5% of the time.

To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower band/level NH-02. Specialized experience is defined as: experience applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to assess the progress of programs, projects or processes; experience planning and conducting a variety of comprehensive studies and reports; and experience assessing, coordinating, evaluating, and integrating the work of others into products that effectively reflect management's position on a wide variety of management and mission-related issues.
