Summary:

Provides assistance and support to Dexcom's Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Financial Officer by coordinating a wide variety of administrative functions including schedule management, travel management, and acting as a liaison to all internal and external entities. This position requires a highly organized and self- motivated person who is flexible and can work well under pressure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of executives' schedule including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and preparing facilities used for meetings.

  • Enhances the corporation's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to the job accomplishments.

  • Conserves the executive's time and promotes the corporate image by representing the executive internally and externally; providing liaison between the executives supported, other senior leaders, and employees.

  • Represents the executive by welcoming visitors and escorting them to the appropriate area or person; reviews correspondence; arranges company dinners and other corporate functions; answers questions and meeting requests directed to the executive.

  • Completes projects and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining cooperation of others; monitoring progress; problem-solving; and adjusting plans.

  • Screens all incoming calls/messages and correspondence.

  • Arranges corporate travel and meetings by developing itineraries and agendas; books other transportation; arranges lodging and meeting accommodations; manages expense reports while adhering to company policies and procedures.

  • Handles sensitive information and maintains confidentiality of all personal and corporate matters.

  • Attends staff meetings and assists with agendas and follow up with executive staff.

  • Performs other duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have excellent written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills and has the ability to effectively and professionally work with all levels of employees.

  • Must be accessible at various times outside of a typical workday and possibly weekends to make changes to travel and schedules.

  • Writing and editing skills; technical and computer expertise (Microsoft Office); possess advanced computer skills along with the ability to train others on system usage; organizational and planning skills; communication skills; confidentiality; attention to detail and accuracy; judgment and independent decision-making ability; problem analysis and problem solving skills; adaptability; initiative; information gathering and monitoring skills.

  • Must also be self-disciplined, self-motivated, extremely flexible, detail oriented, accurate, thorough and dependable.

Education Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience working with senior level executives within and outside the company. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  • Must also have experience and a proven track record with travel logistics, scheduling, follow up, execution, presentation skills, self-confidence, meeting management, client relationship; promoting process improvement; independent decision making, administrative writing skills, and the ability to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways through in-depth evaluation of various factors is important.
