What you will be doing at Generate Capital as the Executive Assistant, Capital Markets:
Provide comprehensive support to the Senior Managing Director / Head of Capital Markets and the Managing Director
Manage heavy scheduling demands and independently oversee executives' calendars with precision
Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, business partners, the Capital Markets team, and the Executive Team, ensuring clear and effective communication
Arrange domestic and international travel swiftly and adjust plans as necessary
Keep executives organized, anticipate their needs, and reduce their cognitive load by ensuring they are always prepared
Take charge of important projects that require creativity, leadership, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Exercise impeccable judgment, paying meticulous attention to detail and accommodating specific preferences
Serve as a reliable gatekeeper and gateway, remaining calm, diplomatic, and approachable
Candidate qualifications & core characteristics:
A demonstrated passion for, or commitment to, our mission
Bachelor's degree and minimum 5+ years of executive level administrative support, specifically in a fast-paced environment
Strong technical competency, specifically with MS Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent project management, organizational, and detailed planning skills with the ability to work on multiple objectives under tight deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross functional team
Ability to rapidly learn new concepts with minimal formal instruction
Unimpeachable integrity and glowing references
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including empathy, intuition, and listening as well as strong writing, editing, and basic design skills.
High level of self-awareness and humility, with excitement about confronting uncomfortable situations or new challenges
Intellectual agility, curiosity, and creativity; problem-solving is your default mode
Entrepreneurial spirit: flexibility, comfort with risk, recognition that "perfect can be the enemy of the good"
Generate's compensation packages are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Salary decisions take into account a wide variety of factors including, but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $135,000 - $170,000. In addition, the compensation package may include a discretionary bonus and other benefits, including health care benefits, retirement benefits, benefits permitting paid days off (including sick leave, parental leave, and paid time off or vacation benefits), and other benefits that must be reported for federal tax purposes. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of this range.
