We are looking for an Executive Business Partner to support the Director of Engineering. In this role, you will handle the calendar of the Director, team leads and coordinate events for the broader team. You enjoy working in a constantly-changing environment and streamlining hectic days. You are incredibly well-organized, flexible, maintain great relationships internally and externally, and are an excellent communicator. You're a people person, you always get the job done, but you're not afraid to have fun along the way.
Complex calendar management and internal and external meeting coordination
Act as team expert and go-to person for things related to your department and executive
Develop and assist with preparation of presentation materials and briefs to ensure that the executive is prepared for meetings
Take meeting notes in staff meetings as needed and follow up on action items
Project manage tasks to ensure follow-up to action items
Keep relevant stakeholders informed and make sure that information is properly filtered throughout the team and company
Identify gaps in communication and identify issues that need to be escalated
Act as a strategic partner and advisor for the executive to aid in making well-informed decisions
Assist with booking travel, including airline, hotel booking, and visas
Work with Office and IT teams as needed to ensure teams have appropriate resources
Plan team building events and keep a pulse on culture and team morale
Back up coverage for other Executive Business Partners
Experience & Skills:
Experience providing direct administrative support to a Director or VP level executive at a large fast paced company
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Adaptable and resourceful in a dynamic environment
Incredibly detail-oriented with strong problem solving skills
Self-starter: can take even the smallest project and run with it to the successful completion
Ability to stay on top of new tools and technologies with an interest and passion to constantly learn
Will exercise discretion and independent judgment in the representation of Lyft
A commitment to excelling in the EBP profession, not necessarily looking to quickly bridge to a different career track
