Earlham College is seeking an Executive Assistant/Office Manager for the Vice President for Institutional Advancement to join our team!

Summary:

Provides administrative support for the Vice President for Institutional Advancement and the Associate Vice President for Institutional Advancement. The Assistant also serves as the Institutional Advancement Office Manager.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support for the Vice President and the Associate Vice President for Institutional Advancement including managing correspondence, donor visits, and Board of Trustee meeting reports.

  • Acts as Office Manager for the Institutional Advancement office which includes coordinating onboarding of new employees, managing office calendars, and working with invoices and budgets.

  • Assists with on-campus events such as Homecoming/Reunion Weekend, Earlham Day, and special donor or volunteer visits.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED certification is required.

  • An associate's degree is preferred or one to two years of experience working in a post-secondary academic environment.

  • Computer training in Microsoft Office applications, Excel, and the ability to learn other computer software programs; Familiarity with basic HTML for web pages and email. Familiarity with Banner is preferred.

  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision; Ability to multitask.

  • Must be able to work with people from around the world, including those with limited skills in English.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
