Brandeis University seeks to hire an Executive Administrator to work closely with the President's office team, including administrative duties, research support, and engagement with faculty, staff, and students on various projects, and also including interface with University Events and Institutional Advancement for presidential events on and off campus.

Examples of Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides on-going engagement, research support, and communications with students, staff, and faculty involved in various President's office-relevant projects,

  • Works closely with senior executive administrator, learning systems and protocols, so that back-up can be as smooth as possible,

  • Learns systems and protocols related to all presidential events, travel, fundraising, on and off-campus meetings, and calendar management including continual improvement and refining of details related to operational excellence,

  • Supports home calendar for varying functions, including overseeing IT support for home office and integration with work office.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree required with 5-8 years of experience.

Requires a highly sophisticated capacity for protecting privacy and exercising discretion regarding all information, while at the same time maintaining a friendly, helpful, and collaborative approach to working with all staff, students, faculty and external audiences.

Demonstrated skill in written communication, conversational skills, and ability to complete tasks quickly while retaining attention to detail. Demonstrated project management skill.

Proficiency in Microsoft office, Google suite, and experience with social media, including privacy-related pitfalls.

Work involves office environment plus home office environment. Position requires car and driver's license with an excellent driving record. This position will require a full background check.
