Position Overview

Reports directly to the Executive Vice President (EVP), Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Requires in-depth knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures. Handles details of a highly confidential and critical nature. Collects and prepares information for use in discussions/meetings of executive staff and outside individuals. Prepares presentation materials for board of director meetings. Makes high level contacts of a sensitive nature inside and outside the company. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Requires a professional certification or equivalent experience in working with senior level executives within and outside the company, as well as experience with customers, vendors, visitors, and other dignitaries.

The Executive Assistant will exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. Needs to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

Specific Duties

  • Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CFO including: managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.

  • Plans, coordinates and ensures the CFO's schedule is followed and respected. Provides "gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, creating win-win situations for direct access to the CFO's time and office.

  • Communicates directly, and on behalf of the President and CFO, with CFO staff, on matters related to CFO's initiatives.

  • Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CFO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.

  • Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the CFO and business groups and functions; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.

  • Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.

  • Together with other C-level Assistants, serves as a role model for the admin function at Lam.


  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail

  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including CFO staff. Expert level written and verbal communication skills

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Five to Ten years of experience supporting C-Level Executives

  • Experience and interest in internal and external communications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and Social

  • Media web platforms.

As our Executive Administrator & Program Manager, you will work directly for our Chief Commercial Officer and support a worldwide team of professional driving the company's sales and marketing programs. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, organizer, planner, project manager and group leader and will have experience in aligning teams of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. The key deliverables are to achieve operational objectives (sales and marketing goals, budgets, schedules and cost targets), preparing and completing action plans, driving internal coordination and decision making, improving productivity, tracking sales force efficiencies, resolving problems, identifying trends, determining system improvements, holding teams accountable and implementing change. This position will require you to work independently with minimal supervision while juggling multiple projects with tight deadlines. You must have excellent communications, time management and organizational skills. The successful candidate will possess attention to detail, high energy and flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven organization. This individual must be able to represent the Sales and Marketing team with professional courtesy and acumen as well as strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to produce high quality communications.
