As a key member, you will provide administrative support to three Vice Presidents: Head of Managed Hotels Division; Head of Franchisee Architecture & Design, Onboarding & Learning; and Vice President, Architecture & Design.

Your Responsibilities
Calendar & Meeting Management
Manage VP's calendars by assessing meeting requests and scheduling appointments, as appropriate. Ensures calendar is up to date and pro-actively adjusts as needed.
Responsible for coordinating meeting room/location scheduling, presentation prep and information distribution before meeting, as appropriate, and catering needs.
Demonstrate understanding of facility and technological resource utilization. Specifically, partner with the service desk and telecom administration on technology and technical support needs. Partner with others to ensure room set up needs are communicated, assist with set up, as necessary.
Travel Coordination/Planning
Proactively manage, schedule, and organize all travel arrangements to include transportation, flight, hotel, and meal arrangements, etc. as needed.
Prepares and coordinates expense reports and ensures timely processing and payment.
General administrative Duties
Manage special projects and other tasks as assigned.
Manage the end-to-end process for confidential personnel processes.
Maintain departmental distribution lists.
Managed Hotel Division Support to include:
Evaluate and appropriately channel questions and communication for necessary and timely action.
Work with Head of Managed Hotels Division to provide support for key initiatives.
Prepare overview of weekly and monthly property performance indicators for senior leadership to review, i.e., running reports and translating them into an easy-to-follow format.
Coordinate and execute departmental meetings and events.
Provide additional support to the Managed Hotel Division as needed.
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
High School diploma or GED required or equivalent experience; college degree preferred.
5+ years' experience in performing Executive Administrative Assistant responsibilities.
Proven track record of representing senior management levels/offices with professionalism and discretion both internally and externally
Must be able to multi-task and work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment.
Professional, detail oriented, well organized.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and coordinate multiple projects/tasks.
Capable of working successfully under pressure.
Energetic and positive outlook on work and associated responsibilities required.
Must have demonstrated problem-solving skills and be a confident decision maker.
Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required to coordinate requirements for events.
Customer focus with ability to establish strong relationship with fellow departments and customers.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Ability to travel approximately 10%

As our Executive Assistant to VP, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters in North Bethesda, MD. Less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, we're located one block away from the North Bethesda Metro station, with service on the Red Line and the MARC Brunswick line, easy access to I-270, and plenty of free parking provided by Choice Hotels.
Right now, our associates in corporate headquarters are working in a hybrid environment, up to 4 days per week in the office and virtual from your home office the remaining days.
