The Executive Administrative Assistant to the Dean and Web Editor provides administrative support to the Dean and Associate Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) and serves as the primary point of contact for the CLAS Dean's Office. In addition, the Executive Administrative Assistant to the Dean and Web Editor serves as the content writer and editor for the CLAS presence on the Lesley external and internal websites, and on Lesley social media pages.
Schedules appointments and meetings and reserves rooms for, and monitors and maintains the calendar of, the Dean and Associate Dean.
Maintains and keeps up-to-date CLAS email distribution lists and the information on, and organization of, the CLAS SharePoint Site.
Addresses visitors'/callers' needs and responds to requests and inquiries from students, parents, faculty, and staff.
Solicits agenda items, posts agendas, and records accurate and timely minutes for CLAS School, Leadership Team, Division Chair, and Adjunct Faculty Meeting/Virtual Sessions.
Coordinates special CLAS events and supports special projects such as, but not limited to, the CLAS Retirement Celebration and the CLAS Reads project.
Provides administrative support for the Academic Review process.
Arranges with Facilities to address issues within the Wright Hall building.
Maintains office supplies as appropriate.
Performs additional administrative duties assigned in accordance with the needs of the Dean and Associate Dean.
Maintains a suite of web pages that highlight College of Liberal Arts & Sciences programs, organizations, events, faculty, alumni, resources, and functional offices, observing the university's publication standards, web best practices, and standards of English grammar and usage.
Responds to requests from faculty and staff for updates to web pages.
Collaborates with Marketing and Marketing Communications offices.
Creates, manages, and curates content for the CLAS Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages to support the College's goals.
Stays up-to-date on social media best practices, particularly best practices for the channels where CLAS has an account.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to learn and master new computer software skills as evolving job responsibilities.
Must be able to effectively prioritize and multitask.
Must have excellent communication and proofreading skills.
Must have strong organizational skills and pay careful attention to details.
Must be able to work independently, effectively, and in collaboration with other administrators across the University.
Must be proactive, be able to take initiative, and be appropriately creative.
Must demonstrate punctuality and collegiality.
Must be authorized to work in the United States; if you hold a visa, your visa status must allow you to work at Lesley University.
Experience with Outlook, SharePoint, and Colleague.
Experience with higher education.
Basic digital image editing experience (e.g., cropping, resizing, resolution adjustments) and photography skills.
Salary Grade 23N: $40,967 - $48,750.
