Objectives of this Role
To assist in the efficient and effective operation of the Office of the Regional President
Commercial Services and Senior VP, Commercial Services. This includes overall commercial services operations and ensuring that objectives are achieved in accordance with basic Bank policy and goals. Provide administrative support of the division's sales and service culture. Improve the Regional President
Commercial Services effectiveness and flexibility to deal with important issues as they arise. Manage the commercial loan approval process and interaction with the Bank Board loan committee. Duties also include preparing loan documentation, correspondence, reports, handling calls, research and responding to moderately complex customer needs.
Essential Functions
Greet customers, suppliers, prospects, and associates.
Schedule appointments, make reservations.
Gather and research information to assist RP or SR VP
Prepare presentation materials.
Handle confidential material and matters.
Maintain the constant flow of business in the RP
Prepare loan documentation.
Provide efficient, courteous service to customers, prospects, and associates.
Provide accurate and complete responses to customer inquiries.
Obtain information to solve potential problems.
Inform RP
Know the proper individuals within the organization to handle issues when Assistant cannot handle it herself/himself.
Make routine decisions to expedite problems quickly.
3Prepare and file correspondence, reports, etc. for Regional President - or SR VP, Commercial Services
Prepare materials to assist the Executive Vice President - or SR VP Commercial Services in bank decisions.
Prepare and send packets for Loan Committee to Directors.
Prepare documentation for loans including ordering flood letters, title work, payoffs, etc.
Prepare and update pipeline report for board meeting.

Strong PC facility-word processing, spreadsheets, databases, publication and presentation software.
Strong organization and planning.

Strong, effective written and verbal communication.
Speedwriting (60 wpm)

Ability to interact cordially with coworkers to accomplish common tasks.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
