L3 Communications and Networked Systems Segment is seeking an Executive Assistant to support Segment level Senior Leadership at our Arlington, Virginia location. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled administrative professional, able to provide a wide range of support services, and ensure the office of the executive runs smoothly.
Able to create professional and cohesive presentations, business plans, and proposals for executive level and customer meetings, based on information from various sources.
Responsible for coordinating projects or conducting research that requires working effectively with all levels of the organization.
Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple requests and various projects, when responsiveness and follow through are critical.
Extremely efficient, organized and resourceful.
Able to function well in a fast-paced environment with little direction.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail.
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
Strong knowledge in Microsoft Suite (specifically Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
Responsible for managing the executive's calendar, meetings, and travel arrangements.
Flexible and available to provide administrative support outside of regular business hours.
A BA/BS degree is required, experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
2 years directly related work experience is required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint.
The qualified candidate must also have a general familiarity with manufacturing, engineering, and program management terminology and concepts.
Excellent communication skills to gather and develop information is essential.
The ability to learn new computer programs and databases with little or no training is also necessary.
This position may be filled at a higher grade based on the successful applicant's skills, education and experience.
Due to the nature of our work qualified candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
