Perrigo is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to support our CIO and his direct reports located in Allegan, MI. The Executive Administrative Assistant will be responsible for autonomously performing complex administrative support duties including calendar management, relationship management and task management. The Executive Administrative Assistant will also assist the CIO in staff capacity by coordinating office services and budget preparation.


  • Manage executive's calendar while also arranging extensive travel, and organizing teleconferences, events, and offsite meetings

  • Provide administrative support such as typing, editing, word processing, copying, filing, faxing, supply ordering and research to the CIO and direct reports

  • Responsible for completing and filing expense reports monthly

  • Coordinate employee meetings and presentations

  • Answer & prioritize phone calls, emails and meetings

  • Participate in meetings and capture meeting notes and action items

  • Assist with projects that would include more organization around team events, volunteer activities and charitable events

  • Perform data entry when necessary and act as a backup Executive Administrator for other executives when necessary

Required Experience:

  • Proven ability to provide confidentiality and discretion, and strong organizational skills while remaining detail oriented

  • Must have extensive calendar management experience and a level of assertiveness that is necessary to control schedules and resolve conflicts

  • Strong PC skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to anticipate, improvise, and adapt for optimal resolutions

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to listen and adapt messages

  • Must be proactive, personable, have the ability to multi-task with a desire to be involved

  • Results-oriented style delivering outstanding quality and timeliness, while working independently with little supervision

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong partnerships within and outside the organization

  • Requires high school degree or equivalent, AS degree in appropriate field desired

  • Five years administrative experience, with at least two years supporting executives, preferably in a publicly-held company
