The Palm Bay executive team is seeking an Administrative Assistant to perform administrative and staff support duties for the Space & Airborne Systems segment Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. The individual must demonstrate the highest level of personal integrity, professionalism, and work ethic as well as delivering a high level of customer service for internal customers. They must be meticulous at task management and execution excellence. Must have a focus on problem identification and capable of independently defining and implementing relevant continuous improvement solutions. Easily adapts to changing environments and multiple competing demands. Is equally comfortable working as an individual or in a group setting and can interact with all levels of management. May be required to work extended hours.
Performs a variety of general administrative tasks, prepares documents, spreadsheets, reports and presentations (including files with embedded documents/data sources). Creates and/or maintains appropriate logs, databases, filing (hard or soft copy), status reports/tracking. May perform some research or data analysis tasks and report generation. Takes and delivers messages, provide information to callers, distribute and route mail, packages and paperwork. Will schedule and arrange meetings, trips or other events involving customer contacts.
Time management of tasks, projects, and schedules, with quick turn around and tight deadlines.
Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Demonstrates initiative, follow up, and teamwork.
Strong organizational skills.
Computer proficiency and advanced desktop software (Microsoft Office Suite - PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment preferred.
Excellent communication skills, quality commitment, customer focus, strong interpersonal skills and be adaptable.
High school diploma with 8 plus years' administrative experience or Associates with 4 plus years' experience.
Experience with Microsoft office in PowerPoint and Excel.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Presentation development (including files with multiple embedded documents/data sources).
Database skills (Tableau, People Fluent, PeopleSoft, Concur, CRM).
Travel planning/expense reporting.
