Job Description:

Job title: Senior Executive Assistant

We're hiring a Senior Executive Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will support the Chief Marketing Officer and the Chief Operations Officer. As business needs change and workload permits, you may support other executives. You will physically reside in our Executive suite area.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Meeting and event scheduling and coordination and executing project plans

  • Coordinating large meetings, including telecommunications and international logistics

  • Provide professional phone coverage

  • Travel coordination (including international), processing invoices and expense reports

  • Document and presentation design and development, using Keynote and PowerPoint.

  • Managing automated approvals and tasks in various HR and administrative systems taking care for accuracy and confidentiality

  • Personal assistance/support required on an as needed basis, with response required at times off standard business hours.

  • Providing back-up support to other executive administrative team members

Education and Experience required:

  • High School diploma or higher with a minimum of 7-10 years' administrative support experience in an executive corporate environment

  • Computer skills including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Expense reporting systems required

  • Experience operating in a high-profile executive assistant position that interacts with all levels of management including senior executives and Board members

  • Must be comfortable using and helping others in use of different communication devices such as IPhones, Ipads, cell phones, etc.

Competencies and other skills:

  • Ability to proactively support multiple independent team members - thinking ahead and anticipating needs

  • Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills - keeping team members updated on status of requests

  • Incumbent must be able to work independently and collaboratively as a team member

  • Ability to work under pressure to meet multiple deadlines and priorities while maintaining a high level of quality and confidentiality

  • Must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to change, strong organizational skills with a process-improvement mindset and the ability to effectively prioritize workload

  • High level of energy, quick learner and can-do attitude, comfortable working with confidential information

Preferred Experience and Education:

  • Post-secondary education strongly desired

  • Advanced PowerPoint skills beneficial. Strong design sense.

  • Project planning a plus

In this position, you are responsible for the marketing and sales of consulting; engineering design; and supplying the products and labor to build the cabling, security and wireless infrastructure to new clients as well as assigned existing clients.</p> <p>Purpose: To increase the ABcom market share and customer base and achieve a dominant spot in the Twin Cities as the ‘go-to’ provider of mission critical infrastructure for data centers, hospitality clients, and clients dependent on 24X7 reliability throughout the United States. To achieve profitable sales from your overall proposed opportunities to new and existing clients in excess of your annual assigned quota.</p> <p>This position reports to the Vice President of Operations.</p><p>Major Responsibilities: </p><ul> <li>Develop new and existing accounts within their geographic region through effective prospecting, networking, solution selling and closing. </li> <li>Must be capable of achieving a dominant market share position in designated area. Proven and consistent ability in achieving and exceeding revenue and gross margin quotas. </li> <li>Establish and maintain customer and vendor relationships. </li> <li>Develop business plans, detailing activities that will drive assigned sales and gross margin quotas, including prospecting, account strategy, forecasting and pipeline management. </li> <li>Create and conduct effective proposal presentations and RFP responses that identify and address prospects key business issues and highlight our proposed solutions to those identified objectives. </li> <li>Identify and conduct effective networking activities with solution partners, consultants and other professionals to maximize revenue and generate new business. </li> <li>Leverage social media and collaborative applications to communicate and network with customers and prospects. </li> <li>Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; and participating in professional societies.</li> </ul><p>Specific Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Contact existing clientele as assigned and maintain the ABcom relationship.</li> <li>Develop new clients and opportunities through effective networking and marketing</li> <li>Work as a team leader in drawing resources from engineering design and project management into customer opportunities to ensure the client needs are met and the resulting sale has an achievable profit goal.</li> <li>Working within the defined process, provide a superior level of customer satisfaction and experience to ensure you and ABcom have ongoing and repeatable business with the client.</li> <li>Increase ABcom client base and geographic spread, capitalizing on our nationwide presence, regardless of physical office locations.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned by Director of Sales and/or Vice President of Operations</li> </ul> <p>Collaborates with engineering team on design and bid. Works with engineering and project management groups to create accurate bills of materials and cost estimates for upcoming jobs. Provides company standard hand offs to operations for closed sales work. Coordinates with project managers to ensure effective customer communication and on-time, high-quality delivery.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>Minimum requirements: </p><p>Proven history in successful sales achievement in low voltage and telecommunications (cabling, infrastructure, cameras, wireless, software, broadband, mobility, data centers, etc.). Comfortable and sociable meeting new people, an interest in learning their needs and business, and a desire to succeed.</p><ul> <li>Education, credentials, licenses: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 3 years work experience.</li> <li>Specialized knowledge: Strong business and financial acumen, with analytical and numeric ability. Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability to successfully network and build a new client base.</li> <li>Experience: <strong>Minimum 3 years’ experience selling voice, data, wireless, and/or infrastructure products and services required.</strong> Proven track record in lead generation, account development, negotiating, and solution selling; and closing profitable deals.</li> <li>Skills: Above average proposal writing and presentation skills.
