Provide full administrative support to President of Applebee's. Analyze problems, determine approach, compile and analyze data, and keep appropriate staff advised. Communicate with executives, administrative staff, general management and external parties to gather information as needed to complete assignments. Primary responsibilities include preparing correspondence, scheduling meetings and appointments, arranging travel, maintaining communication with and providing information to parties as appropriate. Skilled in quick assignments and following up as required with minimal supervision. Overall demeanor should be calm, professional, warm and approachable amid an intense, service oriented and demanding role. Other duties may be assigned as needed; assignments vary greatly.

Read, sort and route incoming mail and interoffice documents/e-mail correspondence
Set up, organize and maintain correspondence files and other records so that they are easily accessible by other administrators
Maintain and organize, in a professional manner, personal workspace and the office of the President
Develop appropriate relationships with co-workers to ensure open informal communication paths exist
Arrange travel schedule and reservations
Prepare expense reports and ensure submission in a timely fashion
Assist in preparation of presentations submitted by executive staff for use in BOD and other meeting formats. Leverage expertise of other professional administrative staff to ensure high quality end products
Proactively manage calendars to accommodate shifting priorities; ensure all parties impacted by required changes are treated with the utmost courtesy and professionalism.
Ensure that workflow is handled for maximum efficiency. Be proactive in anticipating needs.
Interface smoothly and effectively with all levels within the organization including BOD, Executive Staff, Team Members, Vendors and franchisees
Build rapport with other team members driving to increase interdepartmental cooperation

Skills & Requirements:
Highly proficient in the use of MS Office Suite programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Working knowledge of databases and maintaining on-line shared systems
Ability to research critical business information in a timely fashion (internet, through internal experts, etc.)
Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage one's own time appropriately given ever changing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; highly refined ability to use discretion regarding confidential information

Minimum 10 or more years of related executive level experience in a fast-paced demanding work environment supporting C-Suite officers
